Specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (squint / crossed eye), Ms. Melanie is a uniquely trained eye care professional who works very well with children. She provides the visual rehabilitation for children (pre-verbal and verbal) as well as those with special needs through the lens of compassion.

She helps patients who complain of double vision due to eye muscle problems and prescribes prism glasses or occlusion. She also deals with disorders of the visual system with an emphasis on binocular vision (orthoptics) and eye movements.

She carefully adapts her testing procedures to suit the individual and make them feel comfortable during the consultation and treatment.
