Dr. Hafiza, friendly and passionate comprehensive ophthalmologist in the ophthalmology field. Graduating with a Doctor of Medicine from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2005 and completing her Doctor of Ophthalmology at UKM in 2014, she brings extensive expertise to KL Eye Specialist Centre. Dr. Hafiza served as a Clinical Ophthalmologist at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh, from 2015 to 2018, followed by a stint at Hospital Putrajaya until 2022.

She holds certificates in basic and advanced eye courses, showcasing her commitment to professional development, and has organized multiple community camps. As an adjunct honorary lecturer at Perdana University Royal College of Surgeon, she contributes to medical education. She is currently pursuing post graduate diploma refractive surgery in University Miguel Hernandez Spain under Prof Jorge Alio.

Dr Hafiza actively engaged herself in different programmes and membership, such as membership of fellowship IIUM CERS programme under Prof Khairidzan and APARCS member. Dr. Hafiza’s special interest lies in refractive surgery and pediatric ophthalmology and cataract surgeries, where she has gained significant experience in implanting various intraocular lens types.
